Wedding videographer… Two words that make many filmmakers shudder. The film industry wants nothing to do with it, and people in the business often mock it. They see it as a separate discipline with nothing in common with quality filmmaking. They distance themselves from us. Boring, cheesy wedding videos…
But what if it could be different? What if we could raise the standard of wedding films in the Czech Republic by several levels? How would we do it?

Inspiration from America
In America, I discovered an approach that caught my attention and inspired me. Justin Porter makes wedding films in the style of Netflix reality documentaries. His videos are extensive, carefully crafted and technically brilliant. One big revelation for me was that all the key people wear wireless microphones under their clothes, capturing every sigh and every whispered feeling. As the saying goes, sound is often more important than the picture.
What really surprised and inspired me was not just the multi-camera coverage on the day. Justin starts working on his film several weeks before the wedding. He visits the couple’s families and friends and interviews them. Those conversations give the film a story, depth and emotions that an ordinary wedding highlight video can never capture.
Why does it matter?
Ten years from now… when you watch your wedding video, you will appreciate more than beautiful shots. You will want to hear your grandmother’s advice about marriage again. You will want to relive the moment your father says something touching. These are memories that fade with time, but a film with real depth can preserve them forever.
I believe a wedding film should be about more than beautiful visuals. It should tell the stories unfolding between the lines and behind the scenes. We capture those stories through interviews, quality sound and experienced camera operators looking for the most precious moments.
The Rolls Royce of wedding films
I call this style the Rolls Royce of wedding films because it is crafted down to the last detail and takes a unique approach that no one on our scene has demonstrated yet. Our work starts with a consultation: we talk to the couple about what matters most to them, how much time they want to devote to filming on their wedding day, and which loved ones we should involve. We listen to their story and build the basic structure of the film.
Next, we film interviews with the couple’s families and friends. We arrive prepared, but keep the atmosphere relaxed and friendly so the conversations feel as authentic as possible. These interviews are the foundation of the film’s emotion. We give the scenes a little styling, add lighting and use the highest-quality equipment to achieve the best possible result.
Preparation is key
We need to visit the wedding venue in advance and work through the technical details: where the team will be based, where to position the cameras and where we can fly the drone. If the venue is far away, good photographs of the space can be enough. This pre-production stage is essential for a smooth shoot.
The wedding day: authenticity first
We arrive at the venue the day before the wedding to prepare everything. If family and friends are already there, we use the time to film more interviews. On the wedding day itself, we are with you from the morning. Each partner has their own camera operator capturing the preparations and unique moments. Another operator films the venue, guests arriving and short interviews. A sound recordist fits all the key people with wireless microphones so every important moment is recorded. As the day unfolds, we try to capture as much emotion as possible—that is what matters most—while staying out of the way. Filming ends late at night on the dance floor. We pack up the equipment and either join the party or get in the van and head home. Then comes post-production, which is particularly demanding for this format. Delivery is usually around two months after the wedding.
A wedding film to experience for a lifetime
Our goal is to create a wedding film that is more than a record of your big day: a way back to the emotions you felt. A film you will enjoy watching again and again, reminding you of what really matters—love, friendship and unforgettable moments with the people closest to you.
We want our approach to change how wedding films are seen in the Czech Republic. We want a wedding video to become more than a memory of a beautiful day: an emotional story you will want to return to years later.
We are ready to change the game
If you are looking for more than beautiful shots—if you want to capture real stories and emotions—we are here for you. Our team is ready to create a wedding film that reflects who you and your loved ones are. A film that captures the authenticity of your relationship and the uniqueness of your day.
